I really have had full intention of updating this and figuring out more of the blogging world, but I have had a few distractions. Luckily, they are all good things which I am excited to report...
First, we are so excited to have a new nephew!!! Oliver Niel Jacobs was born Saturday afternoon. He is such a beautiful little baby with a full head of hair! We are so happy for Vanessa and Curtis and CANNOT wait to meet and hold little baby Oliver.

I've been working on writing our thank-you's from the wedding. I don't even think I'm halfway done yet, but we're getting there. It may take awhile...

After 2 weeks of searching and 5 interviews I was offered 2 jobs on Friday! I was lucky to have an option to choose and I couldn't be happier with my decision. I am OrangeSoda's newest employee. No, I do not work for a soda company (although I bet Tim would love it if I did). OrangeSoda is an internet marketing company. They have a wonderful and fun family environment, are the best at what they do (although I am biased - they really are), and have been growing tremendously since the day the company started in 2006. I am a customer support representative on the campaign management team for Partners :) I'll blog more about the job later. I do love it and already know more about the internet and search engine optimization than I ever thought I would. I am also grateful to my friend Casey Kirkland for telling me about the job and saying a few good words on my behalf.

I have been SO anxious to get my wedding pictures from the wonderful Mark Mabry. This past weekend I got the CD's of all the pictures! I am still selecting which I will be printing and putting in frames all around the house. I love the pictures and still love looking at them everyday. (More of those on posts to come).
Yesterday I came home from work to this lovely surprise....
It was our one month anniversary so Sammy bought me a rose and yummy tarts for dessert that night. I was so surprised! I appreciate his thoughtfulness and everything he does for me. What a babe.
That's the latest with the Nielsen's. Sammy works hard in school each day and studies away at night. Right now he is at a review session. I am debating whether I should watch 'Biggest Loser' or have a little work out myself. Unfortunately, I think I'll need to do the work out to prevent myself from becoming a contestant....
